  1. Hi, If you live in the Minnesota area, I recommend you try visiting this website http://sbs.mnsu.edu/psych/clinic. The Assessment Clinic provides comprehensive evaluations for learning disabilities and/or attention-deficit disorder. All assessments are conducted by trained mental health technicians who are graduate students in the Minnesota State University, Mankato’s Clinical Psychology Master’s Program or School Psychology Doctoral Program under the supervision of a licensed psychologist. The fee for this evaluation is $300.
For more information, please contact (507) 389-1818
I took my daughter to a university in my state of Michigan, and she was diagnosed with ADHD (inattentive) and executive function disorder. ( $200.00) Good luck!

  2. Thank you for the resource Kat. For some parents, this info will be helpful. For most
other parents, those fees are impossible to pay. From the lens of a teacher in St. Paul,
my question is what is SPPS going to do with that information. My unfortunate experience
in SPPS, is that the special education services are totally inadequate and do not meet
the needs of the students. Believe me, I’ve been a teacher in St. Paul for 28 years and
the state of special education is in crisis.
